Design Australia at BKK Design Festival

The exhibition Design Australia, organised by the Australian Embassy Bangkok, will be on display at the Grand Hall of the Siam Discovery Center from 14 to 26 October 2008 as part of the 2nd Bangkok Design Festival.

I am working for the Embassy as an exhibition coordinator and very proud to be part of this exciting exhibition.

Design Australia features eight leading studio designers from the city of Melbourne who use traditional handmade skills in their production process. The exhibition highlights excellence in design, creativity, style and innovation.

Feature designers are Marc Pascal, Sari Harris, Ilka White, Gregory Bonasera, Volker Haug, Zaishu, Maureen Williams and Simon Lloyd

The Embassy is working with an Australian architect/designer Peter Harper of Harper Design Studio in Bangkok. Here is the lay out design. Look pretty good, I wish I could be one of the designer! if you in town please visit our stand.
