Jakkai Siributr, a Thai textile artist base in Bangkok, will present his latest series of work, TEMPEL FAIR as the inaugural exhibition at Tyler Rollins Fine Art in New York, 30OCt - 6 Dec 2008. Jakkai is one of Southeast Asia’s leading contemporary artists working primarily in the textile medium. Inspired by the popular festivals held at Buddhist temples throughout his native Thailand, Jakkai’s current exhibition makes a powerful statement about religious, social, and political issues in the country today.
